Hi there, I’m Eric! I am a recording artist, soloist and flute teacher at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
I travel the world these days playing and curating concerts, teaching master classes and am very excited to be able to share with you my knowledge through this great online tool from wherever I am in the world! My approach to teaching reflects my broad playing/recording career and my own musical education. I consider curiosity, generosity and open-mindedness to be the keys to my success as a teacher. I can be of great help if you are preparing for college auditions, orchestral auditions, recitals or with basic questions about technique, practice skills or the wonderful flute repertoire. Let’s explore together music from Bach and Handel to the most contemporary and adventurous stuff! I’m looking forward to meeting and hearing you! Check out more about my work at my website: www.fluteaddict.weebly.com
Formerly under the tutelage of Eric Lamb, I’m proud to have been his student. He was remarkable to work with; as he has taught me everything I needed to know about flute technique and pedagogy. Our lessons were well structured, very focused, yet fun, delightful and very informative. Eric is passionate about teaching and encourages his students to explore the complexities of the instrument and subtle nuances that make up the foundation of the flute. Eric instills leadership, self-reflection, self-motivation and all around independent qualities in his students. I’m proud to be a former student of Eric Lamb.
