I'm a passionate and dedicated teacher who truly loves teaching. During lessons, I seek to help students with both technical issues and musical interpretation. I firmly believe that a solid technique is the basis for expression, and typically a lesson will start with a scale and/or a etude, after which we will move on to the pieces are that are currently being studied. I will also tailor exercises to students individually depending on their needs. Much of my teaching aims at helping students to practice more effectively and thus become their own best teachers. I'm very solution oriented; when a technical or musical issue does not work, I will design a plan with the student to overcome it.
