I'm a Danish flutist based in the US. I have worked with The Royal Danish Opera, The Copenhagen Phil and Alarm Will Sound.
I studied Flute Performance at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, at the CNSM in Lyon, France with Philippe Bernold and Julien Beaudiment, and I hold a Master's Degree in Music Education from the University of Missouri.
One of the things I have learned over the course of my teaching career is that learning styles are as different as each of our personalities. That is why I take the time to get to know you, so that together we can figure out exactly what you need to take away from your lessons with me. Whether you are looking to improve your tone, your technique or your musical expression, I can help you move forward.

Kristine is an empathetic and lovely teacher, with a great talent at communication - even through an online platform. Kristine is also a great listener, and takes a genuine interest in her students' progress. I'm quite relieved to have found her - I can hear the improvement in my tone, articulation and support, all of which had been stagnating for a while. Highly recommended.

I have improved so much with Kristine! She is such an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable. My tone quality and all around musicianship has greatly improved since taking lessons from her. Even though these are not in-person lessons, I still learn a lot every time we have a lesson on play with a pro. She does not let the online lessons stop her excellent quality of teaching. I absolutely love learning from Kristine!
