Teaching is the kind of collaboration with students where there is a chance to create a laboratory together, which gives me enormus joy!
Hi everyone! I am Noemi Gyori, I am from Hungary and am currently living in London. Let me introduce myself in a nutshell:
During the past five years I have been staff member as an Associate Tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music, working with the students individually and on various masterclasses, next to leading my own flute studio in the Junior RNCM (since 2010)
I find enormous joy in working with dedicated flutists: for me teaching is the kind of collaboration with students where there is a chance to create a laboratory together, build a safe environment, that gives room for experiment for various ways of expression, in depth understanding of technical aspects of flute playing, identifying complex musical coherences and refining details for different styles of musical pieces. The kind of team work experienced through the lessons results in mutual growth of both student and professor and has a long lasting positive effect, helping each student reach their fullest potential, goals and also providing essential solid knowledge and practical tools when facing arising musical or technical challenges.
I am extremely excited to meet and work with even more flutists from all over the world through this amazing online platform!

I didn't had the chance yet to meet Noemi personally, that's why I was super happy when I found this website accidentally and I found her on the available teacher's list. I really enjoyed my first lesson with her and Life had sort of pointed me into her direction. I follow her work since years now, she is very much became my idol as an artist and teacher and also as a private person. She is very nice, has unlimited patience and her instructions and suggestions helped me already on the next day after our online lesson to perform even better on the concert. I can only recommend her, I look very much forward to my next lessons, and can't wait to see her in person this summer!
Noemi Gyori holds an equally outstanding profile both as concert flutist and pedagogue in today’s music world. As someone performing regularly as a chamber musician, orchestral flutist and soloist, she has an objective overview of the various aspects of the flute repertoire. She has useful, well-grounded technical and musical advices which she communicates in a straightforward and approachable manner, besides providing great support and guidance in realizing our own musical ideas. I am currently a flute student of the Universität der Künste Berlin. I have met Noemi, while still living in Georgia. She came to give a masterclass, where we had a chance to have individual lessons with her every day. Noemi is a multi-sided and fantastic flutist, her teaching is always exciting, let it be about tone production, technical exercises or musical interpretation. She listens with extraordinary alert ears, has a lot of patience and great enthusiasm to share her knowledge. She can instantly give several solutions to any technical or musical question and demonstrates these on her flute, which makes her point even clearer and easily understandable. Noemi served as a great motivation for me to come to Europe, and is an example of a brilliant musician and an exceptionally sympathetic teacher for me!
