Hi everyone! I am Orsolya a Juilliard Alumna residing in Vienna. I perform as a soloist and chamber musician and I am the founder and director of Musikschule in Wien at Palais Palffy in Vienna. Hungarian born violinist Orsolya Korcsolan has established herself as one of the most versatile artists and sought-after violin teachers of her generation. Her technical command and warm, compelling sound, combined with her spirit and elegant stage presence, have captured audiences around the world since her debut in New York's Paul Hall. Discovered and supported by Sir Georg Solti, the Juilliard alumna won numerous awards in New York such as the Dorothy DeLay Scholarship Award as well as the Cornelius Vander Star Award before settling in the heart of the European music World in Vienna.

Her recent carrier highlights have included masterclasses in Asia, appearances with Deutsche Grammophone Artist Avi Avital Mandolin player, with Grammy Nominee Clarinetist David Krakauer at Konzerthaus Wien. She is a regular guest with the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra and guest leader of the Kammersymphonie der Wiener Symphoniker on the stage of the world-renowned Musikverein in Vienna.

Ms. Korcsolan has served as ambassador for the Jewish Summer Festival in Budapest and as artistic advisor and artist-in-residence for the Vienna Jewish Festival, the "Missing Links" concert series at the Holocaust Memorial Centre and the Budapest Goldmark Festival. Both her critically-acclaimed albums "MOSAIC - Classical Jewish Compositions for Violin and Piano" and “KornGOLDmark – Works by Erich Korngold and Carl Goldmark” were released by Solo-Musica, München. Ms. Korcsolan graduated (MA) first at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She continued her studies at The Juilliard School in New York with Dorothy DeLay Masao Kawasaki and Itzhak Perlman and received her second masters -Master of Music (MM) degree in violin performance.
Ms. Korcsolan is the founder and director of Musikschule in Wien and Palffy Masterclasses Vienna at Palais Palffy.
