I’m the trombone professor in Karlsruhe, Germany and have been teaching at the conservatoria of Rotterdam and The Hague since 2007
I teach very individual, I try to learn from the student what to teach (Montessori). I use techniques I learned myself from the great trombone and brass pedagogues. My teachers were Ben van Dijk, George Wiegel, Michel Becquet, Bart van Lier and besides that I visited teachers all over the world like Joe Alessi and Michael Mulcahy. In my classes I invited great teachers as well, like Jonas Bylund, Jan Kagarice, Rex Martin, Ian Bousfield and Ingemar Roos. I learn from every teacher and every student. In 2017 I graduated from a masters of music about teaching with a focus on natural and efficient playing.
