I am one half of VC2 Cello Duo and a recent recipient of a DMA. I would love to help you work on your goals as a cellist and musician!
I have had a keen interest in teaching online since working with students from India starting back in 2013. This led me to begin a DMA centred on teaching the cello online. Through my research, and my experience teaching for the past 15 years, I have become well acquainted with a variety of styles of playing and teaching. My work within multi-style cello duo VC2 has also opened many interesting doors into the world of duos and duo etudes by some of history's greatest pedagogues, as well as a number of contemporary duos by today's leading cellists.
Students looking to take lessons should be adventurous with open minds and willing to try new things. Whether you want to play through some Bach, excerpts, or want to try improvising, feel free to send me a message to set something up.
