I've worked in all major Italian opera and symphony orchestras as Principal Piccolo, currently with the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra.

For several years I've been committed to teaching the piccolo and I've developed and refined a unique pedagogical technique for this instrument.
I have the capacity to focus on your specific problems and rapidly find the solution.
I love to teach and I'm very patient with beginners.
I love to teach orchestral excerpts, too. Since I've played them so many times, I guarantee you'll be very well prepared for Orchestra Auditions.

Lavinia Garlisi November

Debora is not only a wonderful musician, but also a great teacher. She brings you into the world of sound, of musical ideas, in which you can imagine and create your own personality. She talks about music like she's painting, like she's writing a tale. She will fascinate you with her excellent technical preparation and with her wonderful way of making music.

Carolina Guzzetta November

She has helped me to gain control over the instrument and discover its many expressive and technical possibilities. With Debora's help I've overcome many problems, first of all the staccato, through many interesting exercises of flute technique. At every lesson she pays great attention to precise intonation, the primary goal of mastering this instrument. Besides purely technical exercises, I've also discovered and studied closely the complex piccolo repertoire. Debora's long experience has enabled me learn orchestral excerpts very carefully, in addition to chamber music, and, of course, the most important concertos for piccolo and orchestra.
