Í'm the trumpet teacher at the Tivoli Youth Guard and pedagogy trumpet teacher at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. I'd love to hear from you!
My pupils range in age from 6 - 70 years and are at all levels of trumpet playing.
When I teach, I focus a lot on good sound quality, musical phrasing and to make the trumpet playing as easy as possible by showing the student how to use the body most appropriately.
I graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2000.
From 1998 to 2012 I studied privately - starting with Arnold Jacob in Chicago, then Hans Gansch in Wien, Ole Edvard Antonsen, Oslo and finally Phil Smith in New York.
I have had the pleasure of performing with an extensive range of orchestras, including Mahler Chamber Orchestra as well as major orchestras in Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
I especially love to play with organ, piano or harp.
I’ve released seven CDs with music for trumpet and organ.
