For a long time I've been working at an international level, receiving commissions from and collaborating with some of the finest ensembles/musicians of contemporary music. Combining my ongoing career as a composer with teaching has been a great experience for me for I love transmitting the knowledge that I gained from own experience to the others, who are at an earlier stage on their paths. Altogether, I've been giving private composition lessons and master-classes for more than four years.

My strongest point as a teacher is to help you finding your own personal voice as an emerging composer. How do I do that? Firstly, I do not impose and aesthetics on you, but listen to you and try to understand what do you want to express and in what way you wish to express it. Secondly, I give you the right advices and information and provide you with the relevant examples that will be beneficial for your learning.

Depending on your level, it is not only the basic compositional skills that you can learn from me, but it is thorough mentoring and guidance: You can receive advices on a number of topics ranging from communication with performers to writing grant applications or career perspectives and possibilities.

As I studied and acquired professional experience in four countries (Turkey, Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, and Austria) I have a great affinity to meet and work people from different cultures.
