I'm an award-winning pianist with over 30 years of teaching experience in the Russian piano method. I can teach you to play piano well!

The Russian Piano Method is a school on how to play piano well. If you listen carefully to Russian pianists you can hear how their performances are grounded in a shared sense of virtuosity and deep musicality.

I can teach you how to play well in the tradition of the Russian Piano School - beginners, professionals, conservatory-aspirants, all are welcome to learn to play well.

The advantage of joining my class online is that you will learn how to develop and improve your piano playing in an intensive and inspiring way while becoming solidly grounded in the strong basis that russian piano method provides. The result is a deep understanding of the music and the ability to play at the high level of Russian piano school standards.

My teaching experience extends over 30 years. Since 2002 I run a piano school in the Netherlands with students varying from absolute beginners to competition-winners. Before that I was teaching competition aspirants in the pianoschool of my parents in Moscow as well as conservatory students in the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory and in the Conservatory of Amsterdam. For many years now I am teaching masterclasses abroad.

To my long teaching experience I can add my extensive experience as a concertpianist with worldwide experience and as a former prize-winner of international competitions (Liszt Competition, Utrecht; Rachmaninov Competition, Moscow; amongst others). An asset proven of great value for the development of students!

My education: I attended the Central Music School for Talented Children of the conservatory in Moscow and graduated the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory with a gold medal. I also graduated the Amsterdam Conservatory. I enjoyed masterclasses of Earl Wild, Isaac Stern, John O'Conor and Eugen Indjic.
