Filip Orlović studied classical saxophone at Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, Germany.
He won many awards and prizes on competitions in Serbia/Croatia.
He played in many orchestras in Serbia, Croatia and Germany:
Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Vojvodina's Symphony Orchestra, Serbian National Opera Orchestra in Novi Sad, Symphony Orchestra of HfMT Köln, Croatian National Opera Orchestra in Split etc.
He had opportunity to work with: Arno Bornkamp, Claude Delangle, Timothy McAllister, Oto Vrhovnik, Mario Marzi, Lev Pupis etc.
Saxophonist Filip Orlović was born in 1994 in Kragujevac, Serbia.
He started his musical education in "Kosta Manojlović" Music School in Smederevo, and finished "dr Miloje Milojević" High Music School in his hometown Kragujevac, in the class of professor Dragiša Živković.
Filip was one of the elected best students of the 1994 generation of Kragujevac High Music School.
In June 2013, he passed the entrance exam and enrolled at the Novi Sad Academy of Arts in the class of professor Gordan Tudor.
Same year in October, Filip Orlović performed as a guest of the "Music for peace" project in Moscow. He played Jacques Ibert's "Concertino da camera" under the baton of Felix Korobov, with the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, in P. I. Tchaikovsky Small Hall. He also played the aforementioned piece in Tambov with the Tambov Chamber Orchestra.
He continued his studies at the Split Art Academy (Croatia) as an exchange student in 2016/2017.
He graduated at Academy of Arts in Novi Sad 2017 in the class of Gordan Tudor and also in the class of Daniel Gauthier 2019.
