Usually in the pit of the Norwegian Opera in Oslo and teaching in the Arctic University in Tromsø. Formerly in Barcelona, often in Buenos Aires.

I love teaching at all levels. Hearing beginners making their first sound on the instrument, or celebrating a student winning a national soloist competition are equally inspiring and important to me.
Proud to belong to the strong Norwegian bassoon tradition, having studied with Dag Jensen and Eirik Birkeland, and even their teacher Torleiv Nedberg. I also have to mention my fellow student from Dag's class in Hannover - Ole Kristian Dahl - his playing and teaching has been an important inspiration ever since.
20 years of orchestra experience on top of that (Barcelona Symphony, Oslo Philharmonic, Kristiansand Symphony and since 2014, Norwegian National Opera and Ballet) has given lots of inspiration and also failures to learn from.
I spend much time making reeds, always with a new experiment going, and will happily share from my reed making experience with you.

Me encanta enseñar fagot en todos los niveles. Ver un principiante lograr hacer su primer sonido en el instrumento, o celebrar un estudiante que gana un premio nacional de solistas - a mi me da la misma inspiración y es igual de importante.
Con orgullo formo parte de la gran tradición noruega de fagotistas, con mi profesor Dag Jensen y mi compañero de estudios Ole Kristian Dahl como personas más conocidas internacionalmente. Pero también Eirik Birkeland fue un profesor importante mío, y sobre todo Torleiv Nedberg - quien fue el maestro de tanto Dag como Eirik también.
20 años de trabajo como músico de orquesta - (Sinfónica de Barcelona, Filarmónica de Oslo, Sinfónica de Kristiansand y desde 2014 la Ópera y Ballet Nacional de Noruega) me ha dado muchísima inspiración y también experiencias para aprender.
Gran parte de mi tiempo me dedico a hacer cañas, siempre con experimentos nuevos. Por supuesto comparto también ese conocimiento contigo.
