Reserva tu clase y trabajaremos juntos.

Soy Juan Mari Ruiz.

Hi, I'm Juan Mari Ruiz, oboe teacher, writer and active musician.

I am dedicated to teaching the oboe in the top grade from very young, which has allowed me to learn a lot from my own experience as an active instrumentalist and the students who have gone through my class. Not only to learn to play the instrument, but also to know and be alerted to problems that may arise and have a repertoire of exercises and strategies to prevent and resolve them if necessary.

If you want to know more about me, please visit my website: www.juanmariruiz.com and my YouTube channel (http://t.ly/9lLw).
It would love to share with you the pleasure I feel when I play the oboe.
You can also follow my activities on Facebook: www.facebook.com/juanmariruiz

I like technical working, but without forgetting that the ultimate goal is to use those skills to convey the audience our feelings and musical ideas by oboe. For this I analyzed all the factors involved in the production of sound (breathing, mouth, throat, tongue, etc.) and the role of each, so that I have a series of specific exercises for each technical aspect desired to improve. With a well-established technique is easier to modulate the sound with comfort and safety and can truly enjoy music while playing.

See you soon!

Since the lockdown I have decided to challenge myself and made the decision to learn a new woodwind instrument : The Oboe. I have been taking lessons with Juan-Mari for one month now and I am very statisfied with his teaching. He is very patient, give a lot of constructive feedback and advise. On top of it, I have started reading one of his books about woodwind instrument techniques and I must say that I am really enjoying it. I highly recommend Juan Maris lessons. Thank you so much Juan Mari !

I am a beginner oboist, and have really enjoyed my first few lessons with Juan. He plays with beautiful tone, and within those few lessons I have noticed a remarkable improvement in my tone too. He not only has given me corrections, but also told me HOW to make the correction in my technique to achieve the result. I look forward to every lesson.

Juan Mari Ruiz was my first oboe teacher and I was studying with him for eight years. He entered me in the world of music and made me appreciate the pleasure of playing it. His advices have always helped me and am still considering.
