I'm a professional concert cellist with Masters from the Royal Northern College of Music (UK) and extensive teaching experience.
Throughout my own development as a cellist I was fortunate to learn from some of the most renowned cellists worldwide (Karine Georgian, Hannah Roberts, Philip Higham, David Geringas).
I feel it is my calling now to pass on the knowledge that I've gained from them.
From the very beginning, I care about building the fundamentally right habits, so that the student can progress and play with the most ease. Making music should be an enjoyable process - exploring different characters and colours with the sound, while increasing your technical capabilities and gaining confidence from the progress you make.
I gained my tutoring training during 2 years of Internship with the RNCM Young Strings - one of the best music schools in North England. There I lead 1on1 and group lessons for cellists and higher strings, as well as Dalcroze musicianship and Ensemble playing for pupils aged 5-12.
Since then I have worked at the Alderley Edge Primary School, taught in varied level masterclasses, and am currently a Manager and Lower Strings tutor at the Fallibroome Academy Re:Play project (working with children and adults), and part-time at the Junior RNCM department teaching 14-18y.o. advanced level students, many of whom are training to become professional performers.
Wether your a beginner or an advanced player - one of the wonderful things about music is that there is always something new to learn.
