Hello! My name is Marie-Helen and I just love to play the violin!
Long term studies (PhD), working with other talented musicians, giving concerts around the world and teaching experience have been the best part of my life. I have been a member of Kremerata Baltica since 2012, also as a solo artist and chamber musician at festivals in Latvia and Costa Rica, and recorded various CDs that have received great international recognition (Grammy nomination 2015 for CD set on the works of Mieczysław Weinberg, ECHO Klassik award 2016 for CD featuring Shostakovich’s piano concerts, etc.). Also my long experience with the European Union Youth Orchestra (from 2006–2011 and later as II violin concertmaster) has taught me so much. Thus, if You need any help with preparing for auditions, feel free to ask for my advice. I have also worked as the second concertmaster in the symphony orchestra of the Estonian National Opera.
