I wouldn't be where I am today without the encouragement and training given to me by my amazing teachers, who were patient, supportive, and always willing to work in a way that best benefitted me. My teaching style is therefore greatly informed by this approach. I believe in a disciplined, dedicated methodology that bolsters students' self-esteem and fosters a love of music that they can take with them for the rest of their lives, regardless of if they pursue music as their chosen profession. Rather than employing a "one size fits all approach", I work with my students' learning styles to keep them engaged, confident, and willing to take initiative in their own studies. I have taught students of all levels and all backgrounds and would be very excited to work with you and help you with your personal goals.

I have a Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where I also completed certified Suzuki teacher training. I perform regularly as an orchestral musician with major symphony orchestras across the globe such as the London Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, The Minnesota Orchestra, and the Nashville Symphony.
