Stefan Baur graduated from the soloist class with the debut concert in 2007 from the Royal Danish Academy of Music (prominent). He has also taken his diploma from DKDM and both pedagogical and diploma from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with virtuoso Arno Bornkamp as he read musicology in three years at the University of Copenhagen.

As a musician, he is active as a soloist, chamber musician and in Danish and Swedish symphony orchestras. He works on a daily basis, inter alia, in Trio ZOOM, Danish Saxophone Quartet and ensemble Scenatet with which he regularly appears in both home and abroad. He is equally well in modern as the more traditional repertoire and has also premiered a large number of works for saxophone. His concerts have so far taken him around the world. Besides a great concert, he serves as a teacher in various institutions.
