Hello everybody!
If you love playing the flute, and looking for a teacher who can inspire you to be the best that you can, you have come to the right place!
My name is Tamar and I specialize in classical flute playing. One of my biggest passions in life is teaching. It is a pleasure to bring the love and joy of playing the flute to my students. With me you will learn all about the beauty of the sound, breathing techniques, different musical styles, introduction to both the operatic and symphonic repertoire and the art of expression. You will also have the opportunity for intense work and mental preparation before your own orchestra auditions.
A little about me :)
I was born in Israel and did my Bachelor degree in the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in Tel Aviv University. From there I moved to do my Masters degree and Solistenklasse diploma in Stuttgart Musikhochschule.
In the past years I’ve played as a soloist and as principal flute in several major orchestras in Europe such as the Royal Danish Orchestra, La Scala Orchestra, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, Wüttembergisches Kammerorchester Heilbronn, Wüttembergische Philharmonie Reutlingen, Staatsorchester Stuttgart, SWR Sinfonieorchester Bade Baden und Freibung and more. I’ve also been playing regularly as Solo Flute and Solo Piccolo in the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra with Maestro Daniel Barenboim.

In last months I had the opportunity to have a couple of lessons with Tamar Romach, which were very usefull for me. Her instructions especially in tone development, control of vibrato and intonation were very helpful. In addition I found her musical interpretation very interesting and inspiring. I am very glad that I had the opportunity of taking flute lessons with Tamar Romach. It is obvious that besides being a great musician, she is also a passionate teacher who is taking the challenge to help the student exactly where it's needed. She showed me many helpful exercises to enlarge my sound. Besides, she made me aware of the importance of breathing in the right way and taught me how to control my vibrato. She helped me prepare for an orchestra audition and I can warmly recommend her as a very experienced and motivated flute teacher.
