Hi! My name is Artem.
One of my passions is to teach people how to play cello and enjoy it. I have had great teachers. Thanks to them I have got Master Diplomas in two countries (Ukraine and Belgium) and became a member of European String Teachers Association. They infected me with love to music and I want to pass this experience to my students.
Internet is already deep in our lives and getting education via internet is normal. With teacher you will have very individual approach to your personal needs. I always take care of my students and they always happy after our lessons. Giving high level of education is my goal.

I started taking lessons with Artem after a few years of playing in orchestra, where I had developed a lot of bad habits. The classes were really rewarding. Artem focused constantly on the position of my hands, relaxing my shoulders and my body. This improved the quality of my sound, my technique and generally the comfort of playing cello. Artem is giving all the instructions in a positive way, never in a stressfull manner. He will give all his knowledge the best way he can. If you want to learn to play cello and really enjoy it, I can surely say that Artem is one of the best teachers you can find.

Hi! My name is Wouter D’Haese and I’ve been having lessons with Artem Shmahaylo now for 3 years. First of all Artem is a very good musician. A good cello technique is of course very important and he starts out with that. Besides from teaching technique he also has an amazing intuition and knowledge for musicality of a piece. He is also just a very kind man and I always leave lessons with a good feeling. I definitely enjoy these lessons and I am certainly going to continue studying with Artem in the future.
