I am a guitar player that started out as a metalhead and eventually became a classical and jazz guitarist. I earned a Master of Music degree in classical guitar and have teaching in universities since then. I teach a variety of styles that include classical, rock, jazz, blues, and acoustic. I teach guitar because I love spreading the joy of music to others. Watching students grow on the instrument is a wonderful feeling. I feel students should study with me because I give them the necessary tools and knowledge they need to have an intense understanding of the layout of the fretboard as well as an understanding of theoretical concepts. Instead of teaching songs, I give students the techniques and skills needed so they can apply their knowledge to real world guitar playing experiences.
