Harp Solo of the Spanish National Orchestra & international harp soloist, I am here to help you discover the full potential of the instrument.
Graduated from The Curtis Institute of Music, I have for the past decade sought to create a new musical dimension to all harpists. Having founded "Harpistically Yours", I am finally capable of showing off the true potential of my instrument, offering today's audience a groundbreaking new approach to the Harp and to the Classical Music world.
As a teacher, I have this passion to help you find your own voice. I have no interest in having my student play like me. What I do want is for the student to be able to make music, the way he feels it deep down inside
About methods, I was lucky to spend my first 10 years of harp playing with Elizabeth Fontan-Binoche and then fly to Philadelphia where I studied with Judy Loman and Elizabeth Hainen. I don't have one method but a mix of different schools that fits my persona. No method is better than another one, one must just find what works best for oneself, allowing an impeccable technic to then musically let go.
I always look forward to meeting young harpists, and working hand in hand with them will always be a true honour!
Ms. Orliac was extremely inspiring and dedicated, always offering me very professional guidance. A beautiful experience that I wish for many fellow harpists to have!
