I am a freelance tuba player with an international performing career, with 25 years teaching experience. All ages and abilities are welcome!
As a freelance musician, I have wide experience playing many genres, including classical, jazz, folk, world music and improvisation.
My teaching method is based upon establishing a strong basic technique as the foundation. I like to discuss with my students what their aims and musical tastes are, and I want to create fun, stimulating lessons, catered to your own musical interests.It is my hope that my students will develop a strong technique and an inquisitive and creatively imaginative approach to music and the tuba.
