Keith Sweger

I am the bassoon professor in the Ball State University School of Music and I perform with orchestras and perform recitals around the US.

I have been teaching bassoon for over 30 years and have students playing in orchestras and teaching both nationally and internationally. I am active in the International Double Reed Society, having served as President for 4 years, coordinated the Gillet-Fox Bassoon Competition, and hosting the society's 2006 conference. I work with undergraduate and graduate students at Ball State and keep a small private studio of serious high school students. I believe that fundamentals need to be focused on in order to find your musical voice.
