With good and versatile knowledge of embouchure, breathing and reed making - bassoon playing is just easy. I´m taking good care of my students, just very happy to help and work with motivated bassoonists:)
Mikko-Pekka Svala went on to study at the Malmö Academy of Music / Prof. Asger Svendsen, Musik Hochschule in Leipzig / Prof. Jörg-Michael Thomé and with Prof. Ole Kristian Dahl in Cologne.
Mikko-Pekka currently holds the position of associate principal bassoonist in the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra.
An devoted pedagogue, Mikko-Pekka teaches at the Helsinki Conservatory, Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts, and Trossingen Hochschule für Musik, in Germany.
