A member of the Karajan Akademie of the Berlin Philharmonic. With many years of teaching, I would love to help you get better at the bassoon
Born in Israel in 1997, Nur Meisler discovered his passion for the bassoon at the age of 14. He started his studies with Richard Paley at the Giv’atayim Conservatory and later graduated from Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts. Nur then moved to Berlin to attend the Barenboim-Saïd Akademie, where he received guidance from Mor Biron and Klaus Thunemann.
Continuing his education at Hanns Eisler Hochschule für Musik under Volker Tessmann's guidance, Nur earned a spot in the esteemed Karajan Akademie of the Berliner Philharmoniker, and is currently under the tutelage of Stefan Schweigert. In 2023, he garnered recognition with the second prize at the Muri Competition.
Nur has performed under the baton of Daniel Barenboim, Kirill Petrenko, Zubin Mehta, and Sir Simon Rattle. His contributions extend to orchestras like the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, and the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Berlin. Nur has also attended multiple masterclasses, including those led by Sergio Azzolini and Sophie Dervaux.
