I teach because I love sharing the joy and passion of music with young people, and sharing the lineage I was raised with. Having studied for 12 years with Louis Moyse, and several years with Jeanne Baxtresser, plus masterclasses with some fantastic professionals including William Bennett, Marcel Moyse, Julius Baker and Jean Pierre Rampal, I have 40 years of experience helping young artists to achieve their flutistic dreams.

Patricia Creighton has been my teacher for the past year and she is absolutely incredible as a teacher. Patty is very patient, all of her feedback is very constructive and she is always willing to teach and walk me through learning a new technique or piece. She is also very dedicated to her students and frequently offers to give me extra lessons during the week or send me extra exercises to help improve my skills. Patty also very generously helps me prepare for auditions which is not required but she is always willing to help nonetheless. Overall, I think that Patty would be a great choice for any position given her experience, professionalism, and dedication to her students.
