I'm Principal Eb/Sub Principal Clarinetist of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and I am on faculty at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
I have been a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since 2017, and I joined the clarinet faculty at Royal Academy of Music in 2022. I was Associate Principal/Eflat Clarinetist of the Norwegian Opera and Ballet Orchestra from 2010-2017. In addition to playing with the Royal Philharmonic, I regularly perform with orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonia of London. I've performed as guest principal clarinetist with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic, Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic, and Odense Symfoniorkester. I have a BM and MM in clarinet performance and prior to moving abroad, I studied with esteemed clarinet teacher Yehuda Gilad. I joined the faculty of the Clarinet Maestro Festival in 2021. My teaching style is flexible- every student is different and I adapt my style to fit your needs. Whether you are preparing for auditions, just starting out, or you are a keen amateur, I look forward to helping you improve your clarinet playing.
