I am the Sub-Leader (Associate Concertmaster) of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. I have taught at Cornell University in NY and privately.

I would like to help students improve their technique and their understanding of the musical material. Having studied both in my native Bulgaria and in the United States (at The Juilliard School), I have experience with teaching methods from both sides of the Atlantic. As a result of my extensive professional experience as an orchestral musician and concertmaster, I could be particularly helpful with orchestral repertoire, excerpts and solos, especially in preparation for auditions. Most importantly, I like to make lessons both educational and enjoyable, so that we can work towards achieving your full potential, while having fun with the violin!

one of the best moments violin class with maestro gellev.

It is fantastic and a real privilege to have access through this portal to such a high level of teaching. Vesselin was extremely kind, patient and while the violin lesson was fun it was also extremely informative. I came away with plenty to think about and work on in the most positive way.
