LESSON PLAN

01 01 Interview

Growing up with the recordings of the LA Brass Quintet and his solo recording on Crystal Records which are still available, hearing Mr Bobo play and teach in Montreal in the late 1970s at the Festival de Trombone et Tuba. It is a real pleasure to hear him speak about his past and his link to Arnold Jacobs. There are really fine players around everywhere these days but he was one of the first world class, world famous tuba players who you could hear through his great recordings. Long life, Roger!
